"Winter Intertidal"

The inspiration for this painting was from a beach near the artists home on Lasqueti Island.  Winter storms in the area make for a different mood at the beach than the usual summertime peace.  The name of the beach is Burnt Out Bay and is on the west coast of Lasqueti Island facing Vancouver Island.
